Submitting a driver/handler travel update is quick & simple:
- Scan the QR-coded tracking label on the pet’s kennel
- Share your system location (or manually add your location by clicking “Continue without sharing location”)
- Select the type of update you are wanting to submit (e.g. Airport, Vet, etc)
- Select the specific update type — e.g. “Check-in at airport”
- Fill in a couple fields (ones with * are required for the update to be submitted)
- Hit “Update Status”
Travel updates are meant to be submitted at every major milestone/transition point—so that we can give the animal owner as complete a view of their pet’s journey as possible:
- 🏨 Picking the animal up from the owner? There’s an update event for that!
- 🏨 Checking the animal in at boarding? There’s an update event for that!
- 🏥 Just arrived at the vet visit at the start of the appointment? There’s an update event for that!
- 📄 Finished the vet appointment? There’s an update event for that!
- ✈️ Successfully tendered the animal at the airport? There’s an update event for that!
- Etc. etc.
At each update you submit, the animal owner (and any secondary contacts they’ve elected) instantly & automatically get a text message and email notification:
