When creating or editing a template, you have the following fields:

The app automatically chooses whether the plural or singular version of the alert should be sent out based on the amount of pets added to the shipment.

The emails sent for updates from your CareTags Travel Sense account will be co-branded with your company’s logo in the header of the email.

Personalizing templates

You can personalize the templates by using tokens. A token looks like {{{pet_name}}}. Any form field or property within a Shipment file (e.g. client name, pet names, AWB number, etc) can be tokenized and added to a template, such that when the alert is sent, it will display whatever was submitted in that field.

Here’s a list of the tokens for you to be able to easily copy & paste into a template:

{{{pet_shipper}}} Your company’s name
{{{pet_names}}} All the pet names added to the Shipment file
{{{shipment_number}}} The shipment number added to the Shipment file
{{{driver_name}}} The Drive Name form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
{{{next_stop}}} The Next Stop form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
{{{pet_ate}}} The yes/no form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
{{{pet_drank}}} The yes/no form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
{{{pet_relieved}}} The yes/no form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
{{{external_customer_notes}}} The free text form field, filled out by a driver when they submit an update
